We Muslims are not better Ummah because we are of better creed, blood, status, superiority, wealth or any other thing that produces ego or superiority complex.
Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad peace be upon him told us we are better Ummah than the majority of people of the precious Books. Not because we have any string attached to any superiority of flash and blood but because we are Ummah who spread a word of good deeds among people and restrain people of doing bad deeds, believe in Allah and the day of judgement. Unlike previous one group of people of the book who denied the signs (verses) of Allah, slaughtered prophets without justice (illegally), did severe disobedience and cross the limit decided by Allah. Other group of the people of the book are on the right path, they recite verses at night, offer prayer, believe in Allah and the day of judgement, say people of doing good deeds and restrain them of doing bad deeds, they hurry doing good deeds and they are among the righteous.
We have lost that great status of fear other than the fear of Allah, greed and love to the worldly interests. We see atrocities on innocent Muslims in our homes and a road and stay silent. We don’t believe in doing good deeds now we believe mind your own business. Pain of others may become the pain of ours so, stay away from the matter and live peacefully.
With the sentence of don’t meddle and live peacefully that is none of our business, that thought has taken away all peace from the world.
We are living a chaotic life, life of slavery, subservience to home and abroad. We are easy with that, nothing reminds us what nation we should be and what we have become. We have forgotten all entitlements of saying good deeds and restraining from the bad.
