Allah is so proud of His Abd!
Allah appreciates human more than
any other creature in the universe. He loves human and sees his good acts as a great
Ibadah one can ever perform. He is always ready to forgive the sins as equal as
the mighty mountains, once human truly regrets and chooses Him over everything
else. Allah loves to see how a human chooses Him, His love, and His mercy despite he has nafs (a part that instigates
him to sin, disobey, do injustice on the earth).
Allah is so proud of the goodness of human that He appreciates before angles and let them see how His Abd (a worshipper) is obeying Him, doing good deeds, preferring to honesty over falsehood, preventing injustice, forgiving others, spreading goodness, and remaining grateful.
When Allah asked His mighty and perfectly obedient creatures to take the responsibility and become the vicegerent on the Earth and prevail justice, mercy, kindness, love, and prosperity on it, the mighty mountains, pure angels, high skies obediently couldn’t accept the offer. They knew responsibility would come with accountability and they were afraid of the punishment, and when they were asked for it they trembled. Becoming the vicegerent would require to have a nafs. They knew being equipped with nafs, they might err. They chose safety over the blessings they could have if they corrected themselves and became better after every sin they committed and every mistake they made.
Allah knew for Abd equipped with nafs and doing good deeds would not be easy. It would tempt him to sin on every step taken. But the beautiful thing is only deep love with Allah would make the Abd, the righteous and the beloved of Allah.
All angles complained of the being into the existence of human. They were aware, he would have nafs to err, do injustice, bloodshed, cruelty and constant damage to the nature. Allah was sure what He was creating. He believed in the positive side of the human, a great protype of Allah’s creation. He knew in the love of Allah, a human would do anything to please his Allah, the most gracious and beloved. When a human was taught and presented to the angles, a human told them knowledge taught by Allah that the angles had less idea of. Allah asked about the same responsibility from his Abd. “Would you take the responsibility I am going to assign you?” A human deeply in love with Allah said yes without further asking what it really was. He loved his Allah, he was a complete obedient and in love. He thought nothing but the love of Allah. And took the responsibility: angles, skies, mountains feared about. Human believed in the mercy of Allah more than His wrath. This point was heart-touching. Allah made a promise that His mercy would always be more than His wrath. Human made everyone realized that he believed in the aspect everyone put less weightage to out of fear and that aspect of Allah was unlimited mercy and love of Allah for those who repent , make mistakes but come running towards Him.
Immediate yes out of love made Allah so proud of His human. He proudly said to the angles “See, didn’t I tell you I know what you know not?” Angles said, “Yes, indeed”.
Before coming to the world, human made a promise he would not forget his Allah and His love and get back to Him fulfilling his promise and making good score to be rewarded with higher ranks in the paradise. A human made this pact and Allah sealed it. Surah Al-A’raf (7:172).
Unfortunately, once on the earth, his soul couldn’t remember his promise so, Allah sent His prophets to him for guidance and showing him forgotten path leading to Allah. Human’s soul time to time recalled the promise but went against it, broke it, committed sin, spread injustice and called himself mightiest and the most powerful and rebelled against the love of Allah once he dearly had with Him.
Allah still believed in the goodness of human for when He tested His Abd time to time and His abd went far far deep in His love that made Allah proud that how among many, many still love Him dearly. He tested Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) from putting him into fire to sacrifice his son, he did without a question, without a hesitation, without a doubt on His mercy. Hazrat Ibrahim agreed and tried to please Him every time that everything he has- his love, his possession, his everything belongs only to Allah. His such faith made fire, a cold haven for him; fire didn’t burn him, his son was never sacrificed, he was saved.
You know what, what was given with the responsibility? A human was made a vicegerent to the Earth but what was given with responsibility was bigger than just becoming the vicegerent on the earth. That “given’ thing was to take care of the free-will. Taking “free-will was the challenge that every other creature feared to take. In the free-will human had to decide to love Allah or love his nafs. Human loved Allah so well, he couldn’t dream to not love his Allah- so gracious, so benevolent, so proud of him, so loving him, so supportive that Allah negated what angles said. Human took the free-will and descended on the earth. Human’s real side of loving Allah or faking it got clear on the earth. Among Allah’s many humans, many chose Allah, used their free-will to please nobody except Allah. Many used their free-will forgetting Allah and forgetting to returning to the eternal world, to Him. Everything got clear who chose who and who kept the promise, who took the responsibility serious. Rest is forgivable. Allah knew human would err, test is only on how the promise was kept, how the responsibility was taken for the love of Allah, how the given thing (free-will) was used.
I was so amazed when one of the scholars of the modern time raised a question that on the Earth there is injustice, bloodshed, violation of basic rights, why Allah is above the seventh sky and does not come to save the earth? A simple answer is human is the vicegerent and responsible for maintaining law and order. He has to prevail justice and protect human, nature and Allah’s and humans’ rights on the earth. Human would be asked about his powers on the earth and he didn’t use them for good. His only mission to the earth was to protect peace and prevent injustice by following his conscience. What role did he play in maintaining the law and order, raise his voice for good, use his energy, put his efforts, and become nice to others for sake of Allah?
Allah wanted to reward human higher ranks through this choice. Human by his choice would choose his own ranks in the hell or make higher ranks in the heaven. If the human would be clean for his responsibility and use his free-will consciously, he would be safe. Hell or Heaven would be his choice. His own choice would make the difference.
Choose wisely.

A pleasure to read. Well-articulated.
What a flair of writing Ma'am, amazing! I truly admire your insightfulness and depth of thought. I honestly had tears in my eyes while reading this blog; it deeply touched my heart. The way you expressed the relationship between "Allah and His Abd!" is profoundly moving. The last two paragraphs, in particular, are highly intellectual and well explained. Hats off!
